New Rule: Not all problems should be solved.

Issues are only problems when they are man-made. The ones worth fixing, are the ones we created.
  1. Urban sprawl is a problem. Pollution and dwindling biodiversity are problems.
  2. Aging is not a problem. Quit investing money in research to solve aging. Just accept it.
  3. Corruption in government and business is a problem.
  4. The common cold is not a problem. It does not need to be cured.
  5. National debt is a problem. Our trade deficit is a problem. Wasteful over-consumption and gluttonous consumerism is a problem. Personal consumer debt is a problem. The "credit crunch" is a problem.
  6. Religion is a problem.
  7. Hurricanes are not a problem. We don't need an energy transmitting satellite that vaporizes growing tropical storms.

I like this post, when of the most thought provoking you have put up in a while. I'll wait for all my thoughts to be provoked and then comment more.
