- Urban sprawl is a problem. Pollution and dwindling biodiversity are problems.
- Aging is not a problem. Quit investing money in research to solve aging. Just accept it.
- Corruption in government and business is a problem.
- The common cold is not a problem. It does not need to be cured.
- National debt is a problem. Our trade deficit is a problem. Wasteful over-consumption and gluttonous consumerism is a problem. Personal consumer debt is a problem. The "credit crunch" is a problem.
- Religion is a problem.
- Hurricanes are not a problem. We don't need an energy transmitting satellite that vaporizes growing tropical storms.

New Rule: Not all problems should be solved.
Issues are only problems when they are man-made. The ones worth fixing, are the ones we created.
